Nine LEDs sit in a panel in front of your closed eyes and fire in a deliberate rhythm rather than a steady glow. Your eyelids stay shut for the whole session — you never look at the light. What you perceive is closer to weather behind your eyelids than to a lamp.

What is it, in plain terms?
A headband with a small light panel that sits in front of your closed eyes, paired with an app on your phone. The app plays audio through your own headphones and drives the light in time with it. You close your eyes for about eleven minutes and the session runs itself.
It is a wellness device — a structured way to take a break. It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything.
What will it actually feel like?
With your eyes shut you see colour and movement behind your eyelids rather than a lamp. Most people describe the sessions as absorbing and a little strange the first time, and ordinary by the third. Afterwards the common word is “clearer” rather than “energised”.
It is not a drug and it doesn't feel like one. If you're expecting a dramatic event, it isn't that.
When will I notice something?
Some people feel a difference after the first session. Many don't, and notice it instead over the first week of daily use — usually in the afternoon, or in how the evening goes. We'd rather say that plainly than promise you a transformation on night one.

Do I need a phone and headphones?
Yes to both. The app runs the sessions, so you need a smartphone with iOS 15 or later, or Android 11 or later. The audio plays through headphones you supply — any wired or wireless pair works, and none are included in the box.
Is there a subscription?
No. The Original comes with 72 sessions and 3 neuro-dosing courses, and they stay yours for life. There is no monthly fee and nothing expires.
To be complete: the app does offer further session packs you can add later if you want a bigger library. Nothing about the device depends on buying them, and if you'd rather have the large library from day one, The Rouge ships with 243 sessions included.
How is this different from a meditation app?
A meditation app asks you to do something — follow a voice, watch your breath, keep your attention where it's told. That is exactly the faculty that has stopped cooperating by three o'clock.
Here there is no instruction to follow. The light and sound carry the structure and your only job is to keep your eyes closed.
Original or Rouge — which should I get?
If your problem is the afternoon, focus and getting going, take The Original. If it's the evening, winding down and a brain that won't switch off at bedtime, take The Rouge — the warm 670 nm light suits the end of the day, and it ships with the full 243-session library, 16 courses and a two-year warranty.

Can two people share one?
Yes. The headband is adjustable and there's nothing tied to a single user, so a household can share one device — you just take turns. Sessions run one at a time.
How do I look after it?
Keep it in the travel pouch between sessions, wipe the headband and light unit with a dry or slightly damp cloth, and never submerge any part of it. Charge it over USB-C; a full charge takes around two and a half hours and gives you roughly three hours of use.
How long does delivery take, and are there import charges?
Delivery is free and tracked. UK orders ship from our warehouse in England and arrive in 2–4 working days. Orders to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France and Spain ship from our warehouse in the Netherlands and arrive in 3–7 working days.
Because every order ships from within its own market, there are no customs duties or import charges to pay on delivery. Full details are in our shipping policy.
What if it isn't for me?
You have 14 days from delivery to change your mind, and you may use the device in that time — trying it is the whole point. Email us, we send a prepaid return label, and you get a full refund within 14 days of the device reaching us.
